Majority of parliamentarians in Italy call for supporting the Iranian resistance, people’s uprisings, and protection of Ashraf .

A majority of the members of Parliament in Italy have called for the protection of Camp Ashraf and support for the Iranian Resistance and the Iranian people’s uprisings. Below is the translated text of the declaration:
• In view of the Iranian people’s extensive nationwide uprisings against the religious fascism and their brave resistance against violence and state repression;

• In view of the widespread arrests, rising political executions, including the execution of family members of the residents of Camp Ashraf, who are the source of the Iranian people’s hopes;

Ashraf:US lawmakers: US lawmakers visiting Baghdad say Maliki refuses to allow visit to Ashraf .

The Iraqi government has refused to allow a visiting delegation of US members of Congress to visit Camp Ashraf in order to discover facts about the killing of dozens of the camp’s residents, according to al-Hurra TV.
Al-Sumariya also reported that the US delegation criticized the Iraqi government’s decision to prevent the delegation from visiting Camp Ashraf.

 According to Iraqi news reports, a high-ranking bipartisan delegation from the foreign affairs committee of the US Congress visiting Iraq led by Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, R-Calif., who chairs the House Foreign Affairs subcommittee on Investigations and Oversight, revealed at a press conference that the Nouri al-Maliki government refuses to allow an investigation visit to Ashraf.
