In a symposium titled, New U.S. Middle East Policy and the Policy on Iran", which was held in Washington D.C. on June 2, 2011, former U.S. high-ranking officials discussed recent transitions in the Middle East region and emphasized the delisting of the Mojahedin Khalgh from the US State Department's Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTO) list, and the protection of Camp Ashraf in Iraq.
